Thanks, Eric. I’m happy to have you in our community. Seems you have good experience in this field. I’m also a big Super Reverb fan, to the bone. :-)

I love my Deluxe Reverb, but, I have a question. When I turn up the Vibrato Intensity it turns the volume down. I have done some of the mods listed (V2,4,6 changed to JnJ 12ax7s, speaker cable changed to a better one). I am open to suggestions. I’m sure there are many. Thanks

    Hei,

Jeg har en Fender Stratocaster som jeg kjøpte ca 1990. Den har serienummer S923026.

Kan du gi meg svar på fra hvilket år den er fra?

    Med vennlig hilsen

    Leif Normann Eriksen

Hi, I am new here. I´ve modified my Super Reverb following your advices. It sounds great.
I´ve got one problem with Tremolo mod – I am not able to search Push Pull Pot 50k
Wouldn´t you have some idea where I could buy it?

    thx

why are the inputs 1 and 2 6db different in level on a fender deluxe reverb

    • 68goldtop says:

      hi tonzilla!

I´m not exactly sure why Leo fender and his team established this scheme (it was already used on many of the early tweed amps), but I think it was because they wanted to give players with “hotter” pickups the opportunity to get a cleaner sound without too much pre-amp distortion.

Does anybody have some information on these speakers? They are Fender Special Design, Sound Tested, 12 inch Green backs with a guys face with sun glasses on. I am looking for model, manufacturer, quality and ohm rating.

    Thanks

Hello, Where exactly is the v1 tube on a pro reverb?

    • 68goldtop says:

      Hi!

“V1″ is the very fist tube on the right – when looking from the back of the amp.
      It´s the pre-amp tube for the “Normal”-channel.

      best – 68.
